Simulation
Market Lane
★★★★☆ 4.0
Market Lane is a cozy simulation where you run a small corner shop, decide what to stock, arrange shelves, and keep a cast of regular customers coming back. It's low-stakes in the best way, more about rhythm than pressure.
Everything is handled by tap and drag, and the layout is built for thumbs. Restocking a shelf is a single swipe, and the daily summary is clear without being cluttered with numbers.
It does lean on timers to pace your day, which some will find relaxing and others annoying. I landed on relaxing, mostly because the game never punishes you for stepping away. Battery life was excellent in my testing.
